Getting Your Foot Through the Door With Offline Clients

When I first started, I used this technique to get my foot through the door of potential local offline clients. Watch the videos and then give it a try.

Follow These Simple Steps

Step 1

Sign up for Google Alerts and register the keywords of the businesses you want to keep track of,  I.e. “mike’s pizza house”

Step 2

Sign up and register for a separate Gmail account and set up filters for the different alerts.

Step 3

Start receiving alerts on the local businesses you’re tracking.

Step 4

Contact them with the information and explain the services you have to offer when it comes to managing social media, press releases and content creation for their blogs (if they have one).
