4. Product Creation – I’m dedicating 80% of my time on product creation and working with my affiliates. My goal in 2012 is to go full-time and that just isn’t possible without proper focus and working in areas that will make both my affiliates and me more money. It’s a simple equation but one a few dare consider.
I’ve got 8 WSO’s planned in the next 12 weeks and plan to end around 3 of them after a week and launch them on clickbank. The reason for this is affiliate power. There’s simply far too many affiliates promoting on that platform for me to ignore. I also plan to use JVZoo to host the rest of my products. I intend on rewarding my affiliates well and this new affiliate program seems to be gaining traction.
The festive season gave me time to chilax (chill/relax) and look at the state of my business. I realised that my focus needs to be on producing great products and providing the right tools for my affiliates to use and promote. Having a passive income online is my goal and I think this is the path that needs to be taken to get there.
5. Removing links – over the coming weeks I’ll be removing some of the navigational links to things like affiliate marketing and list building and the blog will be solely based on offline marketing. I need some focus and also need to apply my energy and effort into one niche and only one niche. When I say remove, I don’t mean delete relevant posts. Just the navigational links from the header bar at the top.
6. Network Some More – I’m not the best networker in the world. In this business it’s all about networking and building relationships. I intend to do this on a regular basis and work to help my purchasers as much as I can. Even if it means giving free content away.
I realise you need to be the “go to” guy in your given field and it was simply impossible for me to do this while spreading myself too thin.
Am I doing the right thing? I’ll be honest and say I hope so.
What I have learned along the way is you need to give it a go. I might make a few mistakes and even look like a fool on the odd occasion. It’s not until you push yourself and step out of that comfort zone does your business go to the next level.
Wish me luck and good luck in your endeavours!
Des.

Hi Des, Nice to hear that your offline business is booming. That’s a great idea to post about that, and one post a week is plenty good
Hey Sylviane, Yes 2012 has started really well. It’s like a snowball effect really.
As soon as you get one happy client, simply ask for referrals.
I actually intend to do more than 1 post if I can, I’m just limiting myself to 1 at the bare minimum.
Good luck in 2012 Sylviane!
Hi Des,
I believe we often try to do too much at once, thereby spreading ourselves too thinly on too many projects. I think the idea of more product creation with an army of affiliates is great. After all, if they as a group can sell many times more products than you can on your own, then it is clear, that even after commissions and expenses, you will still be on top.
Good luck, mate, and who knows, we may see you with the top gravity product at Clickbank soon,
Barry
Hey Barry,
Nice to see you mate.
Thanks for the kind words.
I’ve seen my productivity levels shoot through the roof since I made this decision. It’ll be nice to be a the top of the gravity with a category
. Hope to see you there too!
Are you working on any projects at the moment?
Cheers,
Des.
