You can automate tasks such as turn your GPS on or off or set an alarm as you get into bed. All of this without touching a single key or interface on your phone. Kind of slick eh!
I’m guessing it will catch on with the early adopters who are gadget crazy and then trickle down to the kids. This is where I see it take traction.

These little beauties are expected to cost anywhere form $30 – $50 depending on where you purchase. All I know is, I’ve got mine on order.

Hi Des, these smart phones are exactly that aren’t they. i still haven’t got one and have no plans to get one, I think the wife would ask for a divorce if I did
I spend loads of time at my PC and if I was working on something from my phone as well she’d go potty at me. Time away from the PC is her time ha ha.
Apps though are a huge market and for those that use them they do make life easier. One of my brothers dose his shopping with apps. He came round a short time ago and liked the drink we gave him, the next thing i know he’s holding his phone up against the container, ordering it from his grocery store.

Ha ha ha, You’re funny Barry! Yeah, I think these little beauties are gonna be more hassle than they’re worth. I can be as lazy as the next guy, but these smart tags will just give us a bigger excuse
I don’t think it will end mate. With school kids building apps and more and more software coming onto the marketplace where you can build your own, this type of technology will grow exponentially in 2012. Hold on to ya pants!!
